Abstract

What now is commonly known as the ‘coronavirus crisis’ has highlighted different situations of high social vulnerability. Among them, homelessness that existed well before the ‘crisis’ was made visible: from April 2020, health measures were introduced to ‘confine’ people who had been living on the streets and to develop new ones within existing systems. The visibility of homelessness therefore provides an opportunity to shed light on a social issue that usually is widely ignored.
