CKD-associated pruritus (CKD-aP) : assessment tools and evidence-based interventions

Learning objectives: To describe different pruritus assessment tools and apply them effectively to evaluate itch severity and impact on quality of life (QoL) in individuals with CKD-aP, to evaluate the efficacy, limitations and clinical application of pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions in the management of CKD-aP, and to integrate appropriate pruritus assessment scales with evidencebased interventions to optimise symptom control and enhance QoL in individuals with CKD-aP.
