Aborder un nouveau terrain de recherche pose toujours toute une série de questionnements méthodologiques. Cet article met l’accent sur les ajustements réflexifs suscités dans le cadre d’une recherche interdisciplinaire à Tulkarem en Cisjordanie. Celle-ci a pour objectif de comprendre les niveaux et les formes de violence présents dans ce contexte particulier. Elle est réalisée dans le cadre d’une collaboration palestino-suisse. L’article décrit la façon dont les chercheurs et chercheuses des organisations suisses impliquées vont construire un positionnement méthodologique par rapport à ce nouveau terrain, interroger les méthodes qui soutiendront une approche interdisciplinaire créative et participative allant au-delà de la simple juxtaposition de pratiques individuelles. À partir de l’expérience de terrain et des résonances suscitées, l’article dévoile le processus d’identification d’outils offrant des espaces méthodologiques ouverts plus à même de saisir les contextes dits fragiles.

Our objective is to dissect the multifaceted expressions of violence characteristic, within the framework of a collaborative effort between Palestinian and Swiss entities. The crux of this article is to elucidate how Swiss researchers establish a methodological stance pertinent in a new field of research. It scrutinizes the strategies set to foster a dynamic, participative interdisciplinary methodology that transcends the aggregation of disparate individual techniques. Drawing from first-hand field experiences, the narrative unfolds to reveal the iterative process of pinpointing new adaptable methodologies to more effectively comprehend and articulate the intricacies of fragile contexts.
