Résumé
Our interdisciplinary project argues that technology and ecological aspects like sustainable energy consumption couldn’t separate from social organisation and community development. Through a case study located in French speaking Switzerland near Geneva city, it highlights that cultural minority and social citizenship status are strongly embedded in energetic consuming behaviour. The marginality and social segregation of a part of a community are directly reflected in the (in)capacity of individuals, but also of the governance, to adopt clear sustainable rules and behaviours.
