The Franco-Swiss Interreg project “Nature for all” (2010–2013) arose from the realisation that few natural spaces are accessible to people with reduced mobility. Through various studies, exchanges of experience and actions, it has helped to fill this gap by providing concrete answers to questions linked to accessibility of natural spaces to people with limited mobility. Supported by communes in both France and Switzerland, the project has had an impact on the communes' perceptions of the various handicaps and how to address them in the framework of the management of natural spaces. The results of the experience under the project since 2010 have been brought together in the guide “Nature for all – recommendations for accessibility”.
